70MM Film Series at Cinerama

I saw Lawrence of Arabia in 70MM a few years back, and it was a pretty amazing experience. Cinerama is doing a full series this year - with a nice variety of films.

There were a limited number of these high-resolution films made, and Cinerama is one of only a few theaters able to screen them. Cinerama will show the following spectacular 70MM films through March 2008: (Sunday screenings at noon; Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m.)

Top Gun: 10/7, 10/9

Ghostbusters: 11/4, 11/6, 11/11, 11/13

Titanic*: 11/25, 11/27, 12/2, 12/4

2001: A Space Odyssey**: 1/27, 1/29, 2/3, 2/5

Tron: 2/24, 2/26, 3/2, 3/4

Lawrence of Arabia: 3/16, 3/18, 3/23, 3/25

These are great classic fun! I haven't seen Tron since I was little - I know for awhile it was my brother's favorite film. The only one I know I won't be seeing is Titanic. I haven't seen it and it's my secret weapon in games of I Never!
