This past Sunday, a group from Seattle Works made their way down to Lewis County to volunteer for the flood relief. I had several friends that were a part of this relief effort. Susanna wrote a reflection on the Seattle Works blog.
Kudos to an amazing group that made the comittment, gave up a Sunday - not to mention their general comfort - to make a difference. Par for the course with these types of situations, what they did is just a drop in the bucket compared to what is left to do. Nonetheless, they did something. And that's what it is all about.
