Solstice 2007

For the first time in recent years, I didn't have to work on Solstice. I was able to celebrate the longest day of the year in all its glory. For those of you in Seattle, you are well aware of the Fremont Solstice Parade - Notorious for naked bikers who paint themselves in creative ways. I had a few favorites, and Thea documented them well:

Our host, Jaxon, did an amazing job coordinating and hosting a celebration that lasted about 15 hours. From scoping out and securing an ideal parade watching location (right in front of Lenin), to making a pancake breakfast, encouraging the consumption of mimosas, getting several trays of sushi, and offering a great sampler of sake - it was a wonderful day. And great company all around.
