This morning, at Seattle Works' "FRIEND-raiser" breakfast, I was awarded Seattle Works Volunteer Of The Year, 2007. My Mom, Carter, Karianne and Carla were there to join me in celebrating this recognition.

Thanks again to Carter, Mom, Karianne and Carla for coming out and supporting me this morning. Also, I came back to work today from a Chamber meeting to a beautiful vase of flowers from the marketing team at my work. I am grateful to be surrounded by people who support and encourage volunteerism and civic engagement.
